Teen book club at library
Missoula Public Library’s teen book club for ages 13-18 will meet Saturday, March 14, at 3 p.m. to talk about “The Devil’s Arithmetic.” The club meets every Second Saturday. Teens decide what to read. Snacks provided.

Library book clubs to discuss “Red Rover”
Join in a discussion of “Red Rover,” the newest release from local author and UM professor Deirdre McNamer at Missoula Public Library’s book groups on Tuesday, March 10 at 7 p.m, or Thursday, March 12 at 1 p.m. Copies of the book are available at the library check-out desk.
McNamer will join us to read from her work in our Winter Reading Celebration on Wednesday, March 25, at 7 p.m.
MPL’s book groups meet the Second Tuesday and Second Thursday of every month. If anyone attending the programs needs special assistance, please provide advance notice by calling 721-BOOK (2665). Game On! at the library
Thursdays are now the day for gamers at the library. Play video games on the big screen at Missoula Public Library’s Game On! every First Thursday at 3:30 p.m. for teens ages 13-18 only. Our next Game On is Thursday, March 5. Be sure to note the new day!

Children’s Author to Visit Story Time
Donna Love, author of “Awesome Ospreys” and “Loons,” will visit the Missoula Public Library Story Time on Saturday, March 14 at 11 a.m. to read from her latest book, “Henry the Impatient Heron.”

‘Press Play’ for Teen Tech Week
March 8-14 is Teen Tech Week! Teens ages 13-18 “Press Play” at Missoula Public Library, and try out some new tech tricks…
Media Club Wednesday, March 11, 4 p.m. Are you interested in making a video like on YouTube? Do you want to mix your own music? How about making computer art? Share what you know and learn from other teens in our brand new Media Club. We’ll meet every month in the computer classroom on the lower level next to the Small Meeting Room.
Techno Party Thursday, March 12, 4 p.m. Make techno jewelry, compete in a texting contest, join the YouTube Swap of favorite videos, share music mixes. Free food.
Tech Movie Saturday, March 14, 4 p.m. See the new release story of the lovable robot and his space adventure in the Tech Week finale. The Tech Movie is open to all ages.
Plus stop by the Young Adult room to peruse our Tech Fiction & Tech Truth book displays. Remember, unless otherwise noted, Teen Tech Week activities are for ages 13-18 only.
